When Sage by Brightpearl approached us to plan their summer party, we were tasked with creating an unforgettable event that brought their team and nationwide partners together in Bristol.

When Sage by Brightpearl approached us to plan their summer party, we were excited to take on the challenge of creating an unforgettable event that brought their team and nationwide partners together in Bristol. After pitching three unique concepts, they chose the rooftop party at Bambalan - an evening featuring a live DJ, drag queen bingo, a custom cocktail menu, a branded photobooth, and an exclusive afterparty.
They wanted us to create a really unique and special summer party to bring together their teams and partners, not only to celebrate their hard work but also to foster a bit of networking (whilst they had a good old knees up, of course!).

The rooftop terrace at Bambalan, which boasts unparalleled views across the city, made the perfect spot for a great summer party. We wanted to make this event feel really special and personal, so we went all in with the details.
Two balloon garlands in Sage by Brightpearl’s brand colors welcomed guests at the entrance and framed the DJ booth, creating a great first impression.
To add branding throughout the venue in a fun and non-corporate way, we designed a festival-style lineup poster in their colours, showing the running order for the evening. We printed it in a mix of sizes and dotted them around the venue. We also designed and printed a custom cocktail menu where each drink was named after one of Sage by Brightpearl’s partners, who sponsored the event.
The party kicked off with drag queen bingo on the side terrace, hosted by Bristol drag legends Red and Dominique Fleek. They brought the energy, and before long, guests were up and dancing to the Spice Girls!
After that, the guests were served a buffet of mezze dishes to fuel everyone up for a night of rooftop dancing.
For those not ready to head home, we’d lined up an afterparty at Death Disco, Bambalan’s sister venue. Guests got exclusive wristbands for discounts, and a few Sage by Brightpearl team members even jumped on the DJ decks to keep the party going until the early hours!
